About Us

tonyTony Coady is a Dublin born goldsmith, painter (oils) and sculptor (bronze, welded steel and sterling silver).  He qualified as a goldsmith and a patternmaker in the seventies.  He also holds an Honours Master’s degree from the National College of Art & Design and has had more than twenty one-man shows.

Being a patternmaker enables Tony to make a specific design to a customer’s wishes, for example if a bank or corporation needs 100 pairs of cufflinks carrying the company logo Tony can design and cut the original pattern enabling him to cast the 100 pairs of cufflinks with the company logo.

Commissions he has carried out in the past include: The Office of An Taoiseach, Intel Ireland, Michael Flatley (Lord of the Dance brooches), The Irish Kennel Club, RTE, AGB Scientific and Dublin Tourism. Tony also makes Chains of Office.

Tony’s range of jewellery is based on celtic design, Tony’s interpretation of Irish legends, and his own unique abstract designs.

Tony’s married to Fidelma and they live and work together in the midlands of Ireland.
